About this Destination
Gili Meno is the smallest, quietest, and most romantic of the three Gili Islands — a place so serene that the loudest sound on most days is the ocean. This is where couples disappear for a week and lose track of time: white sand beaches virtually to themselves, hammocks in the shade of coconut palms, and waters clear enough to see the seafloor 10 metres below.
Meno's interior holds a small saltwater lake that is an important turtle nesting sanctuary, and the island's fringing reef — home to the largest population of sea turtles in the Gilis — is extraordinary for snorkelling. The famous NEST underwater sculpture garden adds a unique diving experience.
