About this Destination
Sanur is Bali's original beach resort destination — calm, relaxed, and unhurried in a way that the rest of the island has long since left behind. Its east-facing beach is the only one on Bali to catch the sunrise, and the wide paved beachside promenade is a beloved gathering place for locals and guests at all hours.
The calm reef-sheltered waters are excellent for swimming, paddleboarding, and snorkelling, making Sanur particularly beloved by families with young children. It is also the main departure point for fast boats to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.
